Where the Sea Stands Still gathers poems in which body, memory, landscape and language repeatedly cross one another’s boundaries. Liubai follows the architecture of Yang Lian’s collection poem by poem, bringing each work into conversation with an extended essay presented in both a reading edition and a graphic edition.

《大海停止之处》中的诗不断穿越身体、记忆、风景与语言之间的边界。留白依照杨炼原诗集的结构与次序，逐首展开阅读；每一首诗均配有一篇深入评论，并以完整阅读版与图文版两种形式呈现。

《YI》

Yi is Yang Lian’s long reworking of the Book of Changes: a single sixty-four-part poem in which cosmology, history, memory and language are folded into one architecture. Rather than poem-by-poem commentary, Liubai approaches Yi through an extended essay that follows the poem’s structure, images and philosophical stakes, tracing how this vast work becomes a root text for the rest of Yang Lian’s archive.

《YI》是杨炼对《易经》的长篇重写：一首由六十四个“房间”构成的单一长诗，将宇宙论、历史、记忆与语言压入同一座建筑。留白不作逐首评论，而以一篇较为展开的长文沿其结构、意象与思想推进阅读，追索这部巨作如何成为杨炼整个诗歌档案的根部文本。

Concentric Circles builds an ever-widening poetic architecture in which time, body, memory and language return altered at every level. Liubai follows each Circle in two stages: Chinese-first, chapter-by-chapter close readings, then three expanded essays, each exploring a distinct critical terrain. The result is a layered reading that follows the work’s structure without reducing it to one interpretation.

《同心圆》构筑出不断向外展开的诗歌建筑：时间、身体、记忆与语言在每一层次重返，又在重返中发生变化。留白以两个阶段阅读每一圈：先从中文原诗出发，逐章细读，再展开三篇各具批评视野的深入评论。这种层层展开的阅读追随作品的结构，同时保留其多重阐释的可能。

Narrative Poem weaves family images, music, lost places and voices of the dead through photograph, elegy and ruin, asking how a life becomes history. Liubai follows its three Parts with Chinese-first close readings and English essays attentive to Brian Holton’s translation. Three lenses conclude each Part, exploring form and music, memory and history, and the literary voices that shape the living.
